Regional LV functionThere are extended possibilities to plot various regional parameters. There are three main visualization modes report per slice, segmental view, and bullseye plot. Report per sliceIt is possible to do regional wall motion analysis on a slice by slice basis. Possible parameters to plot are wall thickness, fractional wall thickening, radial contraction velocity, and radius.
Segmental viewIt is possible to plot radial contraction velocity over time in six different sectors and each slice in a matrix style.
Note the apical to basal gradient in the onset of the radial contraction. Bullseye plotsThe parameters that currently can be plotted as bullseye plots are:
The orientation of the bulls eye plot can be adjusted by a slider, and the number of sectors with a listbox. It is also possible to export the results of the bulls eye plot to clipboard (to later paste it into for instance Excel). |
